1-2 punch strategy against bacteria and cancer

Rice University scientists are suggesting a new «combinatorial approach» to fight both drug-resistant bacteria and cancer. In this week’s Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a team from Rice’s Center for Theoretical Biological Physics proposes using drug cocktails that contain both synthetic drug molecules and their nature-made counterparts.
